Qviart Lunix is a Linux-based Enigma2 TV box designed to receive digital TV via satellite dish (DVB-S and DVB-S2X). Qviart Lunix is based on the Broadcom BCM73625 750 MHz 2K DMIPS processor and delivers, despite the small physical dimensions, an impressive image and many features.
Qviart Lunix comes as standard with the open OpenPli operating system. OpenPli is open source software and can be adapted to your needs. Smartcard reader, LAN port, HDMI 1.4, SPDIF, DiSEqC 1.3 USALS, 2 x USB 2.0 for PVR, full MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.265 / HEVC and HDMI connection make Qviart Lunix an exciting box with many possibilities . Qviart Lunix can be used as it is, but caters to those who are fascinated by the possibilities new technology offers, including the Linux-based Enigma2.
At the back of the Qviart Lunix you will find the following connections: option for connection of IR eye, S/PDIF digital audio output, connection of satellite dish, 2 x USB 2.0 which allows connection of USB storage medium for recording, 10/100 LAN connection, HDMI connection for your monitor and power connector and switch.

Qviart Lunix operation is easy via the supplied remote control. The remote control has good big keys. You can also operate Qviart Lunix via Webif. With Webif you can control virtually all functions in Qviart Lunix from your computer. You just enter the box's IP address into your web browser. For example, you can set timer recordings directly from your computer, adjust properties, see EPG and many other things. Recordings can be made via USB 2.0 to USB Sticks or other USB connected storage media. Recordings can also be made to associated network drives or NAS via LAN. Recordings are easily set via EPG function and playlists can be created during playback.
