Additional technical information:

The actuator has two connections to the motor and two connections to the built-in reed sensor. In addition, the actuator has two adjustable limit switches. With these you can limit the maximum stroke / travel for the actuator as desired.
 
Operation with only 2 wires is possible if the actuator switches between the two positions determined by the limit switches.
Retraction and propulsion are achieved by changing the polarity. The travel sensor supplies 48 pulses per 2.54 cm of travel.
 
The actuator can be powered by 36V DC or 24V DC. However, at 24 V DC, the full power of the actuator can not be achieved.
