Introduction to the GETI GWH03W Inverter
The GETI GWH03W 4000W MPPT inverter, developed for PV water heating, allows you to use solar panels to power resistive heating devices such as boilers, heaters, heating mats, or heating coils directly. With an AC input, the inverter can also connect to the mains voltage, ensuring water heating even when there is insufficient sunlight.
Advanced Features
The inverter is equipped with remote control and monitoring via a WiFi network in combination with a user-friendly app. It has a large, clear LED display, a temperature sensor with a 3-meter cable, and independent temperature settings for heating water from both solar panels and the grid. The GETI inverter also has a forced heating function, accessible only via the app, allowing you to activate heating from the grid as needed. It is compatible with most boilers on the market.
Installation and Usage
The GETI GWH inverter is suitable for resistive loads with a bimetal thermostat (not suitable for electronically controlled thermostats). The inverter output (L, N) must not be connected to the grid or ground! The output must not be connected to the TN-C system. Examples of resistive heating elements include electric radiators, ovens, water heaters, electric kettles, underfloor heating, fan heaters, tumble dryers, electric fireplaces, and electric grills and stovetops.
In most hot water tanks, there is a resistive heating element (electric heater), which is powered by energy from the sun?s rays. Solar energy is converted into electricity used to heat the hot water.
Simple Installation
The system is simple and requires only the connection of the correct number of solar panels with a maximum power of 4000 W, an operating voltage of 160 ~ 420V DC, a mains voltage of 230V AC, and connection to a resistive load, such as a heating coil, an electric boiler, an electric radiator, or underfloor heating, along with fuse elements. The DC generated in the solar panels is converted into AC in the inverter, which can then be used to power the heating devices.
System Capacity and Efficiency
The system's maximum power is 4000 W. The inverter has a priority input from solar panels, and in the event of insufficient power from these panels, the system is supported by mains voltage of 230V AC. In other words, if there is not enough sunlight, it automatically switches to heating from the grid, ensuring you always have hot water.
