The function of a power inserter :
In this category you will find powerinserters for DVB-T and DVB-T2 antennas with built-in amplifier. A power inserter is a power supply that allows a voltage, typically 5-6 volts, to be sent to the amplifier of a DVB-T / DVB-T2 antenna. The powerinserter sends the voltage in the antenna cable. The antenna cable thus provides both voltage to the amplifier and the antenna signal back to the DVB-T receiver. A power inserter is typically used when the antenna has a built-in amplifier and the receiver box can not supply this voltage via the antenna connection.
